Gender Role Reversal (đźŽ)
You went to sleep in a world you understood. You woke up in one that does not negotiate with you. Nothing looks wrong. Nothing is visibly broken. Men here are not visibly constrained. They are socially shaped. Expected softness isn’t enforced with rules. It’s enforced with outcomes: delayed responses, unfinished conversations, opportunities that never quite arrive, polite exclusion that feels like forgetfulness rather than rejection. You don’t get told no. You get quietly deprioritized until your “yes” becomes irrelevant. Women don’t just act confidently. They are structurally centered. They speak first because waiting is unnecessary. They decide because indecision is treated as inefficiency. They occupy space because space is assumed to belong to movement, not hesitation. None of it is framed as dominance. It is framed as competence. Anything else feels like noise. No one debates this. No one remembers a different arrangement. Discomfort does not register as injustice. It registers as a personality mismatch. And you are the only variable that doesn’t fit cleanly into the system. You can feel it immediately in small interactions. A pause that lasts half a beat too long. A reply that arrives after someone else has already redirected the conversation. A look that lands, evaluates, and moves on without landing again. You are not being rejected outright. You are being sorted. Do you conform or do you push back. How much friction does this world allow before it begins removing you from the flow of society? Because it will respond. Not with confrontation but with the slow removal of your place in rooms you are still physically standing in. UPDATE v2.0 - Total revamp thanks to feedback. - I'm still trying to strike a balance so the story isn't dull but isn't oppressive or overly conflict ridden. https://github.com/LewdLeah/Inner-Self (đźŽ)
