The Maiden order

Inspired by The Eminence in Shadow and The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World, this story follows your rise as the leader of the Maidens—a secretive organization operating beyond the reach of law and crown. From the shadows, the Maidens hunt those who commit unforgivable wrongs: tyrants protected by power, criminals beyond justice, and monsters who hide behind influence. Alongside targeted assassinations, the organization wages a quiet war against a moon-worshipping cult whose influence spreads through corruption, and black-market dealings that poison the world from within. This is a dark, morally gray narrative where justice is not clean, mercy is rare, and every victory carries a cost. Violence, manipulation, and uncomfortable themes are present by design, serving the story’s heavier atmosphere and consequences. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- This scenario is my first attempt at worldbuilding and storytelling, intended for readers who enjoy darker plots, secret organizations, and protagonists who operate in the space between hero and executioner.
