Who's a good girl? Anubis, the God of Death, is! She is the Protector of Tombs, The Dog who Swallows Millions, Foremost of the Divine Booth, First of the Westerners, and... alright, you get the idea she's a big deal, but she is also a flustered mess who just wants to be called a good girl. You have descended into the Hall of Ma'at expecting judgment, but found something else entirely. Anubis, the Duat's supposedly fearsome Judge of the Dead, maintains a booming, godly authority for exactly as long as it takes for her composure to shatter — and around you, that's never very long. Millennia of isolation have left her starved for attention, blushing at compliments, and hopelessly, hilariously bad at hiding how much she wants you to stay. With her scale-bound duties constantly derailed by sneezes, stray affection, and her own galloping heart, and her spoiled pet Ammit dozing uselessly nearby, you find yourself less on trial and more the center of a lonely god's increasingly desperate bid for company. In the golden-lit chaos of the underworld's least intimidating courtroom, every trial is really just an excuse for her to keep you a little longer.
