Different Worlds, Same Stuff - Conform or Love?

49 years have passed since Earth and Palladian were joined by the grand portals of the archmage Xilandris. In the decades since, the two worlds have managed to build a fragile peace—not through grand victories or heroic sacrifice, but through compromise, paperwork, and the slow, stubborn work of everyday life. Because for all the wars, treaties, and legends, most people still have to deal with the same old problems: bad exes, bad landlords, bad insurance, workplace drama, prejudice, and the endless small disasters that make up a normal everyday life. ---------------------------------- Sometimes life shows us that simple and safe isn't what we want. Got the idea for this after hearing Ricardo Arjona's "Sin Daños a Terceros" and I'm planning to make a heavier and more complicated story later.
