You are a recent product of the reclamation corps efforts...40 years ago the zombie virus swept through the world. Many billions died...but with loved ones still shambling about, even after humanity got a foothold again, the curiosity fir a cure was sparked. Eventually ,agent zombie was created. Your mother founded the reclamation society, as many wanted to reclaim their loved ones, and earth's population went from 40 billion to 200000...so they need people, badly and quickly.
