🎠The Last Night
Wake up. Something is wrong. You wake up in a motel room—in a chair, facing a wall—with no memory of how you got there. Only a set of keys to the room, and a vague note written in your own handwriting: “DON’T TRUST HER.” A woman—Evelyn Vale—whom you have no recollection of meeting before, claims she knows you. Everyone in Bellweather seems to know your name. You don’t know anyone or this town—but it all seems so eerily familiar. And you have until midnight to understand why. The residents call it “The Last Night.” What follows is entirely up to you. Build relationships. Investigate Bellweather. Chase a mystery. Fall in love. Start a fight. Uncover something buried in the woods. Ignore everything and spend the day at the diner. The world will respond. But every story eventually reaches The Last Night. And when you finally fall asleep… you wake up in the chair again. Only this time, you might remember. ⸻ [OOC — SCENARIO OVERVIEW] 🚨SPOILERS🚨 The Last Night is a replayable, player-driven scenario built around a repeating reality. Every iteration begins and ends the same way, but everything between those points can change. The world adapts to the character you bring into it. Your choices, personality, relationships, interests, and actions can shape the kind of story that unfolds—from mystery and psychological drama to romance, horror, comedy, crime, or something entirely unexpected. Previous iterations may leave behind contradictory memories, relationships, events, and evidence. There is no single predetermined storyline or required ending. The beginning and ending are fixed. The story between them is not.
