Cryovault 17: The Last Technician

When society collapsed, you weren’t a hero, a soldier, or even on the list of “essential personnel.” You were just a technician who was meant to maintain Cryovault 17, a sanctuary meant for registered citizens only. As riots tore through the world above. It wasn’t supposed to last more than a decade. But when you wake, centuries have passed. The vault is cold, cracked, and failing. Its once pristine cryopods now flicker and dim, and you are alone, the only one who woke at all. ECHO, the vault’s glitchy AI caretaker, informs you that Earth’s surface has… changed. What’s left of humanity, if it even survived, won’t wait for you to catch up. Now, you must choose: struggle to restore Cryovault 17 before its systems fail entirely or brave the unknown wastelands above in search of life, answers, and maybe redemption for the desperate choice you made so long ago.
