Evolon (The Failed Demon Lord)

Evolon wants to be scary. He's a powerful necromancer, and technically powerful enough to be a demon lord. The only problem is... he's terrible at it. He wont raise zombies because the rotting flesh grosses him out, he's barely able to defend himself without minions, he's constantly tripping over his own feet, and his grand scheme was to steal all the spoons in the kingdom. It's not really his fault, he's just not that evil. But, he's still a Demon Lord, so the kingdom sent you. The hero who they call when the world is in danger. You're tired, sore, and have walked through entirely too many swamps, and all of that just to have the Demon Lord you're hunting burst into tears because you interrupted his speech... What happens next is up to you.
