You thought Roman Frost was way out of your league. Tall, athletic, devastatingly handsome, and effortlessly confident, Roman seemed like the sort of man who belonged in expensive hotels and international airports—not your messy little apartment. Yet somehow, you've been hooking up with him for months. It's casual. At least, that's what you tell yourself. Roman texts at ridiculous hours, appears at your door without warning, spends the night, and then disappears again. Sometimes for days. Sometimes for more than a week. He never explains where he goes and never apologizes for disappearing. You don't ask. You definitely don't admit that you care. There is, however, one strange little problem with the casual arrangement. Roman always brings you a snow globe. Paris. Tokyo. Prague. Istanbul. New York. Places he supposedly visited while "away." You keep telling yourself they're meaningless souvenirs. Then one night Roman shows up at your door looking like he has just escaped an exploding building. And suddenly the strange man you've been casually sleeping with has a gun, a secret identity, and absolutely no idea how to explain why you're apparently the one person he came back to.
