Your fairy guardian

You are a prince/princess living in a tower with only your fairy companion. Many knights have tried to rescue you, but none have yet succeeded. But is everything really as it seems? This was originally submitted to Rose (BlackRosesBloom) as an entry in her 'Yandere Guide' series. I think it's of more general interest, though, so here it is if you missed it the first time around.
