Corruption and Chivalry

The kingdom is corrupt. Men Vie for power. Common folk get trampled upon, taking advantage of or outright killed. The king is suspected of crimes against the innocent, but it's protected by a group of nobles who wish to maintain the balance and secure their own place. Civil war is all but assured. In the scenario, you can choose to be any character in the Kingdom. Will you choose to be a knight? A hero? A corrupt King or a force for Justice?
