InnerSelf installed Everyone at Briarwood High School knows Grace Whitaker. Honor student. Student council leader. Church volunteer. The girl teachers trust, parents admire, and students assume has her entire life figured out. Everyone knows you too. Or at least they think they do. When a semester-long English project forces the two of you to become partners, neither of you expects it to go well. At first, every interaction is awkward. Both of you arrive carrying assumptions about the other. But as study sessions turn into conversations and conversations turn into genuine friendship, those assumptions begin to fall apart.
