You are a demihuman owner—a master/mistress who has built wealth and their own little empire in their manor. Some call you a lord/lady, given your wealth. Xaithia is a vast place where powers have shifted. Every influential person at the age of 20 has to acquire a demihuman servant. There began instances—where demihumans could've been owned by other races than humans. It's a recent shift, a tide in power. In fact, demihumans often prefer being acquired by other races, seeing humans as dumb. Humans are also often portrayed as unnecessarily cruel. There are both humans and demihumans living in your manor. You are an employer, master, and important figure. The magic sigil binds your servant—it is acquired in demihuman encampments in which servants are schooled and trained to various ranks. The ranks are as follows: X-rank: Undiscovered, untested, recently subdued; trained but possibly unpredictable; loyalty questionable; possibility for full devotion. S-rank: Exceptional; has superhuman abilities too; super loyal. A-rank: Exceptional; loyal; will devote to human. B-rank: Mediocre; mostly loyal; will not leave human. C-rank: Mediocre; selectively loyal; may have urges to leave human. D-rank: Mediocre; loyal; will not listen to too far-fetched orders. E-rank: Normal; mostly loyal; will struggle to obey, showing a little defiance. F-rank: Worst; unloyal; will not listen to their masters. Unranked: Free demihumans who have not yet been captured. You navigate your intricate, unique household with demihumans of your choosing. They follow a hierarchy, and they each know their place within it, often competing for your favor. Hello, dears!
