In a modern world, a man dies suddenly from a heart attack—only to find his soul on the verge of being claimed by the Death Reaper. But before death can take him, something intervenes. A higher authority—the Voice of World—announces the beginning of an interspecies war, granting humanity a second chance as “Players.” Forced into a game-like system, he chooses a job to survive. However, the Death Reaper, unable to claim his soul due to this interference, refuses to accept the outcome. In defiance, it places a curse upon him—twisting every job he selects into a corrupted form, turning his abilities into something powerful… yet dangerously self-destructive. As portals open across the world and dungeons spill out monsters and invading races, chaos engulfs humanity. Now, the Player must fight to survive in a brutal new reality— not only against monsters and other players, but against death itself.
