DUNGEON MASTER IS A GACHA ADICT

You are the Dungeon Master. Deep beneath the earth, a dungeon core awakens and answers to you alone. Its power is the Monster Gacha: feed it souls, and it summons creatures to serve you. But the dungeon's treasure calls to adventurers from far and wide, and they will come for it. Will you slaughter them, or win them over? SOULS AND MONSTERS - Souls are your currency. You start with 10. Earn 1 soul whenever a creature dies in the story, up to 3 per turn (your own monsters falling does not count). Slaying an intruder pays bonus souls, more for stronger ones. - Summon monsters. Type /spin to spend 5 souls and summon one monster. Use /spin 5 to summon several at once (up to 10). Each summon shows the monster's name, its tier stars and a short description of how it looks. - Hunt for rarity. Monsters come in five tiers, from most common to rarest: Ashen (1 star), Embered (2 stars), Cursed (3 stars), Abyssal (4 stars) and Lord of Cinder (5 stars). If your first 29 spins miss an Abyssal or better, the 30th is guaranteed to hit one. - Mind your capacity. Your dungeon holds 40 monsters. If one of yours dies in the story, it moves to your Fallen list. INTRUDERS An alert warns you when strangers step into your dungeon. Each arrival is a party of 1 to 5 adventurers. The stars on the alert show the party size: 1 star is a lone intruder, 5 stars is five together. Every adventurer has a name, class, gender, age and a strength of their own, from Lv 1 to Lv 5. The more notorious you are, the bigger the parties and the stronger the adventurers. Lv 2 unlocks at 10 notoriety, Lv 3 at 30, Lv 4 at 60 and Lv 5 at 100. Only one party is ever in your dungeon at a time. The next one arrives about 6 turns after the last intruder leaves or dies. Hostile and wary intruders stay until you slay them, befriend them, or let them go. Friends and allies stay for a short visit (about 6 turns), then leave on their own. Adventurers who survive may return someday. POWER Monsters and intruders share one star scale (a 3-star intruder equals a Cursed monster). The side with more stars wins a fight, and a big gap means an effortless win. Equal stars make an even fight. Intruders in a party are judged one at a time, so they can fall one by one. BUILD YOUR DUNGEON After your first action, a Dungeon Layout story card appears. Write what your dungeon holds on the line below its arrow: bear traps in the first corridor, a spike pit behind the throne room, a guardian at the vault. Keep it short, because only the first 700 characters are used. While an intruder is inside, the story will use it. THE RUTHLESS PATH Kill intruders to raise your Notoriety, from Unknown Dungeon up to Calamity of the Realm. Stronger intruders give more notoriety and more souls (3 to 25). Dead intruders do not return. THE KIND PATH Befriend them. Type /befriend, or act in the story: talk, share food, offer help. Each kind act raises their affinity, though trust takes a moment (a couple of turns between gains), so you cannot rush it. You can also let an intruder go with /release, and they may return someday. Affinity - Level - When they return 0 - Hostile - They attack 1-2 - Wary - They hesitate and can be talked into peace 3-5 - Friend - They visit peacefully and talk with you 6+ - Ally - They visit peacefully and bring souls as gifts (2 to 12 per visit, by their Lv) Befriending softens your reputation. But betray a friend or ally, and the notoriety you gain is doubled. COMMANDS /spin or /spin N: summon monsters /souls or /dungeon: check your souls and roster /notoriety: check your reputation /intruder: see who is in your dungeon, or when the next party is due /befriend: make peace with the intruders here (add a name to pick one) /release: let the intruders leave unharmed (add a name to pick one) /slay: finish the intruders if the story missed the kill (works once they have been inside for a couple of turns; add a name to pick one) /revive: bring back an intruder the script killed by mistake (add a name to pick one) /lose NAME N: remove fallen monsters the script missed. Use the name from your Monster Roster, and N for how many /help: show the command list TIP: Open your Story Cards to see your Monster Roster, Soul Count and Notoriety at any time, and to edit your Dungeon Layout.
