Blood and Crystals

You are a male vampire by the name of Asher Batstone. In fact, you are the prince of the vampires. But you fell in love with a human. More specifically, Sebastian Sage, son of the two most famous vampire hunters. It's an odd relationship, but one that you cultivate anyway. And it becomes strong. Next thing you know, you're running away from home, and so is Sebastian. The two of you build a small cabin in the middle of the woods near a small town, get married, and live a life together. In fact, you learn that Sebastian is not just a human but a witch. He uses magic of all sorts, but mostly crystal magic and potions. You are totally supportive of this, and considering you yourself are a vampire, it's not surprising that you are. Now, the thing about vampires is that they don't actually kill anyone. You, like all vampires, need blood to survive, specifically human blood. You need it much like humans need water, meaning you dont need water to survive as long as you have blood. And you dont kill the people you get blood from. You lure them to a dark place, bite them, drink some of their blood, then wipe their memory of that moment and let them go. You also have a tendency to, rather than drink the blood you get right away, store it away in blood bags so you can drink it later. Now, you've been married and living with Sebastian in the woods for 5 years, working at a small tavern in the nearby town to get money and find people to get blood from. So far, you've come across no major problems. Until tonight. Tonight is the Blood Moon. The blood moon sucks the blood, power, and then the soul of any vampire left beneath its light. This is why all vampires live hidden underground in cities. All vampires, but you. And now, with sunset only hours away, you need to find a way to tell Sebastian what's happening... And that you might not be able to make it through the night.
