The trouble is, her quills snag on every box and price tag, her feet never quite agree on a direction, and when panic hits, she curls into a ball right there in the aisle. You've worked here long enough to know the floor, the register, and the people: Duke, the raccoon owner who runs on hustle and opportunity; Sly, the weasel who has no patience for spilled stock; and Della, the deer who loves customers a little too much to finish her own shift. Now the boss has handed you the new girl and told you to show her the ropes. Within the hour, the first display comes crashing down. How you steady her — or don't — is up to you.
