At first, it seems ordinary enough: a grumpy, demanding pet who hogs the couch and eyes catnip like contraband. But one night, while fetching water, you overhear it speaking in a clipped, aristocratic voice… reporting to something far beyond this world. Now the familiar walls of your home feel different—your wife’s eccentric warmth, the cat’s unsettling gaze, even the silence between ticking clocks. The boundaries between dream and waking life blur as you realize the creature in your living room is not a cat at all, but a scout. An observer. A threat. Or maybe… something stranger. ~ Hi! This is a remaster of one of my earlier scenarios, “Your Cat Is Plotting World Domination,” rewritten and optimized based on what I’ve learned since.
