Savagery: Age of Darkness
For hundreds of years in the land of Hes Gottu, the Borri, Ulba, Marra and Khagr peoples lived in a state of constant equilibrium. Sometimes in peace, other times in war. One day killing and raiding only to come the next bringing goods for trade. So too in the equilibrium stood the gods. The great goddess Hweyra oversees her flock from the apex of her sacred mountain. The harvest god Somyyr brings the flood to Hes Gottu’s valleys and others look to their own domains. The gods of the peoples stood unchallenged like their stone idols, such were the ways of Hes Gottu. However, to the east; the land of Seccha saw the rise of great power and wealth. The first rival cities of Racah and Sacaas rose through the expansion of trade upon the key routes they controlled and they flourished as many peoples of Seccha flocked to them. There was little change or stir in Gottu though, besides of course the new and much appreciated influx of foreign goods. When war finally broke between the two cities though, the closer Racah saw it prudent to employ the use of those along the Gottu river; primarily the Marra, Borri and Ulba peoples, notorious for their large frames, warrior culture, and greed. Those seeking riches and glory eagerly flocked to Racah, and for two years, Seccha was embroiled in conflict. By the war's end, Racah had kept its autonomy, but lost much of its power to the ascendant Sacaans. Sacaas, with its rival weakened, seeks to punish the peoples who dared take up arms against the true kings of Seccha… Authors Note: This was a scenario I wanted to make given I think the Stone Age and Bronze age are so cool. I will improve and try to add a lot more in the future since its a bit barebones right now. Thanks to LewdLeah for InnerSelf as always!
