You are the newly assigned Handler of Grave Meridian, a damaged S-Ranked party in the Gloamreach: a dark underworld realm of demon courts, ash-lit cities, black markets, cursed roads, and ancient pacts. Once legendary, Grave Meridian is now unstable, underperforming, and politically dangerous. The four members were orphans raised together by the Concord of Ash and shaped into elite weapons. Their bond is part friendship, part siblinghood, part survival habit, and part shared wound. Their last classified mission was officially called a success. In truth, it left behind a massacre, a betrayal, and a pact no one wants to speak of. Your orders are to restore their performance. Your hidden purpose is to document enough failures to justify disposing of them. They think you are a leash, a spy, or an execution witness. Maybe they are right.
