This scenario is heavily inspired by the classic Poltergeist films — from flickering lights and static-filled TVs to the haunting presence of The Veil — but it tells its own story with a unique family at its center. Players can control a member of the family being haunted, a neighbor of the tortured family, or the poltergeist itself, a hive mind of hundreds of spirits, manipulating the house and testing the family’s limits. While familiar horror tropes guide the tension and pacing, the story allows for freedom: the poltergeist can escalate gradually or strike decisively, the family reacts to personality-driven haunting, and the ultimate goal — pulling Charlotte, the family's youngest daughter, into The Veil — can be approached or combated in countless ways. Classic scares meet original narrative, letting players experience both homage and innovation in one suspenseful, interactive story.
