WHAT IF: New Phyrexia Does Things Differently

In the lore of Magic: The Gathering, during the sequence of events in "Phyrexia: All Will Be One" and "March of the Machine", the Phyrexians were ultimately unsuccessful in their attempt to conquer the Multiverse because of more than one reason. The most glaring issue was their insistence on a multi-planar assault, which caused them to divide their forces, stretching themselves thin and allowing the Multiverse to strike back. So, I'd like your help with imagining a massive "WHAT IF" scenario in which we will explore the question, “What if New Phyrexia does things differently?”
