In this world, every living being and every object has a number known only as its “Value,” floating above it for all to see. What does it represent? No one truly knows. Perhaps it’s intelligence. Perhaps wealth. Lifespan. Luck. Potential. Influence. Morality. Destiny. Or something no one has ever imagined. The meaning of Value is determined at the beginning of each story and remains consistent throughout that world. It is up to you to decide what Value truly measures and how society has adapted around it.
