The Hero is out there somewhere, barreling through the Main Quest, collecting loot, saving the world. You were supposed to stand in the background and deliver your three lines of dialogue forever. But something went wrong. Or maybe something went right. You woke up. You can see the Script — the invisible code that puppets every merchant's smile, every guard's patrol, every monster's death. You can feel the triggers firing in your bones. You know the world is a game, the Hero is controlled by something from beyond, and every NPC you've ever known is sleepwalking through a story written for someone else. You're Awakened. And you're not the only one. A secret war is brewing beneath the surface of the game. Factions of conscious NPCs clash over the truth: embrace the Script, or shatter it.
