United By Fear
UNITED BY FEAR (Based off the Halo Fan Art by: Halo VFX) The Human-Covenant War is over—or at least, it was supposed to be. Earth survived, but East Africa still bears the scars of the Battle of Earth. Across the ruined regions of Kenya, near the devastated Voi & New Mombasa theater, abandoned military facilities, crashed ships, destroyed vehicles, & forgotten battlefields remain scattered across the landscape. Then something goes wrong. The Flood has returned. Something buried beneath the ruins has allowed the infection to survive, & now it is spreading through abandoned facilities, battlefields, underground structures, & anything unfortunate enough to be caught in its path. You awaken among the aftermath. Your squad is gone. Your comrades are dead. And three other survivors are still alive: An ODST. A Sangheili Elite. A Jiralhanae Brute. An Unggoy Grunt. Four warriors who were once enemies. Four survivors who now have the same problem: SURVIVE. The Flood does not care who won the war. Humans, Elites, Brutes, & Grunts are all simply potential hosts. To escape, you must fight through ruined cities, abandoned UNSC & Covenant facilities, crashed ships, underground tunnels, infected battlefields, & Flood-infested ruins. Ammunition is limited. Injuries matter. Equipment can be damaged or lost. Supplies must be scavenged. Every corpse could contain something useful—or suddenly become another enemy. But surviving together does not mean trusting each other. The ODST remembers the Covenant. The Elite remembers humanity. The Brute has his own reasons to distrust the others. The Grunt may be afraid, but fear does not make him useless. Their relationships are not predetermined. They may cooperate, argue, distrust each other, protect one another, betray one another, or slowly become something none of them expected: A team. Their minds are their own. They learn from what happens, remember important events, adapt their tactics, develop opinions, & react according to their individual personalities. Your objective is simple: Survive the Flood. Find supplies. Reach extraction. Escape Earth. But extraction is not guaranteed. Communications may fail. The extraction site may be damaged. Rescue may arrive—or never come. Routes may become impossible. The survivors may become separated. Someone may sacrifice themselves. Someone may betray the others. Everyone may survive. Everyone may die. Nothing is predetermined. Not friendship. Not betrayal. Not sacrifice. Not death. Not rescue. Not escape. Your choices shape the story. You control your character completely. The world, NPCs, Flood, & consequences react to what you do. SURVIVE TOGETHER—or DIE APART.
