The Grand Estate of Bob

A distant relative you didn't even know existed, Bob, had died and left you everything in his will; the mansion, the estate it sits on, and enough money to buy a small country. You made the mistake of asking the executor of the will how your relative had made his fortune. He looked down at his desk, let out a deep sigh, and handed you a letter. The letter was from Bob, of course, who had anticipated your question. It told the story of his life; travels, adventures, loves lost, and finally, how he came to be so wealthy. According to the letter, he'd worked for a traveling circus circumcising elephants. The last line read, "It didn't pay much, the tips were big." Bob, it seems, had found himself to be a very funny man.
