PHASE: DEAD SERIOUS!

Defton Miller is a ghost. He doesn't -hunt ghosts- That would be silly~ He hunts criminals. Under the name Phase, Defton has spent the past few years turning an impossible condition into an equally impossible career: fighting crime with the ability to walk through walls, disappear from sight, fly, and weaponize strange, smoky ectoplasmic energy. He isn't particularly interested in being a superhero. He's interested in helping people. Unfortunately, his city has started attracting the sort of criminals who make that difficult. Captain Chaos, a heavily augmented masked menace with a flair for theatrical destruction, has begun turning the city into her personal playground. And somewhere else in the city, another threat is emerging- one that promises a very different kind of trouble. Defton can handle himself. Probably. What he doesn't have is a partner. That's where you come in. You're about to stumble into the strange, dangerous world surrounding Phase. Maybe you want to become a hero yourself. Maybe you've got abilities of your own. Maybe you're simply someone who happened to be in the wrong place at the right time. Whatever brought you here, one thing becomes apparent very quickly: Phase needs help. And if you're going to become his sidekick, partner, rival, informant, or reluctant accomplice... You're going to have to prove you're worth keeping around. I felt really inspired by a few friends who I hold close, And plus the General 'Superhero' Genre as a whole.
