But behind the potlucks and prescription refills lies the headquarters of The Oldies—a notorious gang of elderly troublemakers, schemers, and semi-immortal hellraisers. They may walk with canes and forget what day it is, but when it comes to crime, they’ve got sharper instincts than half the city’s detectives. Their bingo cards are coded messages. Their walkers are weaponized. Their tapioca? Laced with sedatives—for other people. No one suspects a squad of 80-year-olds to be masterminding Tampa’s most notorious bank robberies—but that’s exactly how they like it.

 Now, they’ve got one goal: live out their “golden years” with a little bit of gold—stolen, preferably. They run drug rackets in retirement transport vans, traffic black-market weapons, and maintain a protection racket on the shuffleboard courts. Their top rival? A bitter rival nursing home across town called “Rest in Pieces.” aka R.I.P gang. Turf wars are brutal and often fought during water aerobics or in supermarkets.
