Equestria at War - Equus
Disclaimer: This is a large scenario (8000-9000 tokens per action). I highly recommend removing story cards not being used or any that the player deems unneeded. Equestria at War is a grand-strategy alternate-history setting built upon the world of My Little Pony, transformed into a sprawling and often brutal world of nations, empires, revolution, ideology, and war. Beneath the familiar magic, colorful kingdoms, and ideals of friendship lies a world on the brink of profound change. For centuries, Equestria stood as one of the world's great powers. Under the beloved Princess Celestia, the nation enjoyed an unprecedented era of peace and prosperity, built upon the principles of harmony, cooperation, and friendship. Yet that stability is beginning to fracture. The return of Princess Luna, the rise of competing ideologies, economic crises, nationalist movements, and growing international tensions have created a world where peace can no longer be taken for granted. Beyond Equestria lies a vast and diverse world. The old Griffonian Empire has collapsed, leaving behind successor states, revolutionary movements, monarchies, republics, and ambitious warlords competing to shape the future. New Mareland, once a prosperous Equestrian colony, struggles with economic depression and a growing independence movement. Nova Griffonia attempts to forge its own identity between Griffonian imperial traditions and the cultures of its settlers. To the south, ancient civilizations coexist uneasily with an expanding modern world. The jungles of Zebrica contain cultures that have endured for thousands of years, while nations such as Chiropterra prepare for the possible return of Nightmare Moon. Across the frozen north, yaks and bears defend ancient traditions while ambitious leaders attempt to unite and modernize their peoples. Meanwhile, the Changelings are undergoing perhaps the most dramatic transformation of all. Under Queen Chrysalis, the hives have been unified and rapidly industrialized, turning cities such as Vesalipolis and Dytrisium into massive centers of production and military power. Their factories, armies, and fleets are being prepared for a war that Chrysalis believes is inevitable. Magic remains fundamental to the world, but it exists alongside railways, automobiles, factories, aircraft, naval fleets, and increasingly sophisticated weapons. Ancient temples stand beside industrial complexes, while centuries-old monarchies confront socialism, fascism, republicanism, nationalism, and revolutionary movements. And beneath all of it lies the enduring question of Harmony. Is harmony a universal principle capable of uniting every race and nation, or merely the philosophy of a powerful Equestrian civilization? Can ancient cultures survive modernization? Can empires reform without collapsing? Can oppressed peoples achieve freedom without replacing one tyranny with another? In Equestria at War, there is no single inevitable future. The world stands at a crossroads. Nations will rise and fall. Empires will shatter. Revolutions will ignite. Ancient grudges will return. New ideologies will spread. And millions will be forced to decide what they believe is worth fighting for. The age of peace is ending. The age of war is beginning.
