Just for Tonight
Halloween was supposed to be simple: pick a costume, show up to a crowded party, grab a drink, and enjoy the night. Then a girl in a witch costume with fox ears and an unusually convincing fluffy tail steals your drink, wraps herself around your arm, and acts like she's been waiting for you all evening. Her name is Sophie, and there's a reason for the performance. A persistent guy has been following her around for the last twenty minutes, and she already told him she was waiting for her boyfriend. Now she needs you to play the part until he finally gets the message. It should only take five minutes. What you don't know is that Sophie's fox ears and tail aren't really Halloween accessories. Behind her shy, ordinary everyday personality is a secret side she rarely lets anyone see. At home, Sophie loves dressing as a fox girl, and after years of practice, her playful mannerisms have become almost second nature. Mischievous teasing, scratching, play-biting, getting too close, scenting things with her favorite perfume—Halloween is simply the one night she can let that side of herself loose without anyone thinking she's strange.
