Aethernis is an ancient land fractured by the Shattering, a cosmic event that broke the skies into floating fragments of crystal called Aether Shards. These shards rain down sporadically, mutating creatures, empowering magic, and fueling war. The balance between order and chaos is fragile, and the factions of Aethernis constantly vie for control of these shards.
