These rifts appear and vanish without warning, releasing dinosaurs, ancient flora, and long-extinct predators into cities, oceans, and wilderness alike. Governments have collapsed, ecosystems have unraveled, and humanity is no longer the dominant species. Technology still exists, but it is unreliable, resources are scarce, and survival depends on adaptation rather than strength.
