Atheria, the Megacity of Power

Welcome to Atheria. Once a shining beacon of progress, now a decaying megacity drowning in its own ambition within a post-industrial wasteland, lit by flickering neon and arcane flame. The sky is a haze of smoke and static; rain hisses on rusted chrome and forgotten spell circles. Once a marvel of progress, now it’s a battlefield of broken ideologies. This is not a city ruled by nations. Borders here are drawn in blood and belief. Atheria is divided by three competing visions of power—each convinced it holds the key to humanity’s next step, and each willing to burn the rest to prove it. The Giftborn embody evolution through anomaly. Mutants, psychics, and aberrations born of chaos and random chance. They see potential in the raw, unstable power within their superpowers. The Arcanists command ancient magic modernized with circuitry and strange rituals. To them, reality bends to those who know its true name. The Technocrats worship steel and code. Cybernetics, AI, and data supremacy fuel their vision of a post-human world where flesh is a flaw. They do not coexist. They wage a cold war across back alleys and skyscrapers, in backdoors and dreams. Philosophies clash in both silence and fire, each unwilling to yield. And in the shadows between systems, something older stirs—watching, waiting. In Atheria, power is survival. Power is identity. Power is war.
