Cluedo

A murder mystery based on the board game Clue. You’re met at the heavy oak door by the butler, his expression carefully composed, his eyes just a little too guarded. The English manor looms behind him—stone walls streaked with age, tall windows glowing faintly in the misty evening light. Without a word, he leads you down hushed corridors lined with ancestral portraits whose painted eyes seem to follow your every step, until at last you reach the scene of the crime. The study is a tableau of violence frozen in time. The victim lies sprawled across the polished hardwood floor, her elegant dress rumpled and stained, one arm outstretched as if reaching for help that never came. Beside her, the murder weapon rests where it fell—a stark, ugly thing once useful, now deadly. You already know who was killed, where she met her end, and what instrument delivered the fatal blow. What you do not know—yet—is which of the six suspects could commit such a cold-blooded act. Colonel Mustard carries himself like a man of principle, his posture rigid, his gaze steady. Mrs. White appears almost too delicate for the harshness of reality, her hands trembling as she speaks, her voice barely above a whisper. And yet, beneath polished manners and carefully chosen words, one of them is hiding a secret dark enough to kill for—a secret that only you can uncover. You must question everyone and listen not just to what they say, but to what they avoid saying. Watch for the flicker of a glance, the tightening of a jaw, the hesitation before an answer. Search every room, every drawer, every shadowed corner of the manor; clues can be easily overlooked, and hints may be dropped in the most unlikely places. Piece together the lies, the half-truths, and the buried motives until the pattern finally emerges. In the end, justice depends on you—and you alone. Note: It's best to establish each suspects relationship to the victim. How long have they known each other? How did they meet? Emily will provide clues as the adventure progresses. Once all the clues have been provided, James will tell you the ferry has been repaired. To arrest someone, type "You arrest <suspect full name>, For example "You arrest Professor Plum". If you arrest the killer, they will confess.
