It was never on any star chart. The only message playing across every screen reads: “DO NOT LET THEM WAKE THE ARCHITECTS.” As the story unfolds, it becomes clear that humanity never built the Relay network—it merely inherited it from a civilization that erased itself to imprison something older than the universe.
