Alternate Earth

This is Earth but not the one we know. This is the Earth the world expected back in the 20's technology skyrocketed and skyscrapers never stopped growing. The center of this new Earth is New York or The Big Weird a sprawling metropolis with skyscrapers that need their own oxygen supplies on the top floors. A world where glider gangs can go their whole lives never touching the ground living among the catwalks and flying cars far above the rest of the city, all built by Dr. Voltz, the incredible inventor and scientist. Across the ocean London serves as the other hub of the world, it's own older architecture has been mostly left alone, but some buildings have become advanced using technology that runs on steam. Fantastical creations that rival Dr. Voltz Electric marvels are a sight to see. This is a world where the Earth is far bigger and more mysterious full of hidden corners and subterranean jungles. It is every Earth from every adventure book rolled into one. A scenario loosely based on the Choice of Games "Cliffhanger: Challenger of Tomorrow" I might add more to this, if the mood strikes me.
