Ythera: The First Warning

This scenario brings together two of my other Ythera scenarios and lets you play as either Tamsin Rell or Rowan Bask, two young protagonists in their own Ythera scenarios. This scenario assumes Rowan has never bonded with a dragon. This opens the door for many possible scenarios in the future for these two. Something is wrong in a far pasture at the edge of the Green Reach Farmsteads. It started as a dead moss-stag, and then three more, and then a patch of grass that isn't dying the way grass usually dies — it's coming apart, fibrous and fast, spreading in a way that shouldn't move that fast at all. Word is already climbing two directions at once: up, in an urgent message from Mosshaven's watch-riders to Skyreach, and out, in a frightened farmhand's run from the pasture to the nearest farmhouse. It is far too early in the year, and far too early in the Ashstar's supposed cycle, for anyone to be looking at this and thinking the word Blight. Nobody wants to be the first to say it out loud. Several people are about to have to. Two people are going to end up standing in that pasture within the hour, for very different reasons, and neither of them was supposed to be there. Whose eyes do you want to see it through?
