The year was 2025 and thanks to the meddling of Donald Trump a virus which is labeled "Chimera" was created to 'cleanse' anyone not under his influence. but instead of it doing as he wanted, the virus mutates and starts transforming people into humanoid feral animals that lose all inhibitions and start killing anyone around them not like themselves. The year is now 2525 and you awaken in a world where the infected have taken over and created a society based on the laws of Survival of the Fittest.
