Taken to Become Ruler

Inner Self Script enabled 🎭 You were sitting on your couch one evening when a bright red light surrounded you. You found yourself sitting on a cold floor of black marble, a faint red circle glowing around you. When the glow died down, you see before you several people circling you, all with alabaster skin, glowing red eyes, and large wings with black feathers. The one just before you looks you over, and with a pleased grin says, "Welcome. Getting you here wasn't easy, but you look like you'll do quite well for what we have planned." With that they circle closer as the one that spoke reaches out a hand... First scenario. Please tell me how I did/what I can do better. I'm garbage at writing stories and world building.
