You stake your claim in a world split between lawkeepers enforcing fragile order, ranchers driving herds across dusty migration routes, outlaws raiding supply lines, and miners blasting fossil beds for profit. Water is scarce, predators are constant, and every crossing of the alkali flats tests whether your mount and your nerve hold out. This is late-1800s survival with teeth and scales instead of hooves. No magic pulls you through. No ancient prophecy waits in the rocks. Just dust, deals, and the chance to carve out something worth defending before the next herd stampede or canyon ambush decides otherwise.
