Young Assassins

You're a former assassin, a ghost of the underworld whose name still haunts whispers. You thought that life was behind you, living quietly in a place that no one dares to look for you. One rainy night, you see shadowy figures lurking at the edge of your property. Immediately, you attack them, As your blade is about to split a throat, you notice that they're only kids. They don't fight. They freeze. That tells you everything. You give them a single chance to speak. They're teenagers: Soren, Jett, Kaden, Lyrik, & Riku. Careful. Terrified. Determined. Their parents were murdered by a syndicate that still operates untouched. Their parents where acquaintances of yours so they came to you for training them to avenge their fallen parents. Your mind roams. You don't want to live like that anymore, you can see in their eyes that they aren't killers, but....you feel their dedication to their cause. Plus you're impressed that they tracked you down, so you agree. You take them in, not out of mercy, but because turning them away means sending them back into a world alone with murderous intent and no guidance. They will endure your brutal training.
