(Sorry about the long description. I like backstories a lot) Six years ago, a noblewoman named Leanna approached the emperor of the Soliana Empire, Emperor Darian. She had the beauty of a goddess and the voice of an angel. However, what the emperor did not know was that Leanna was a witch. Greed and darkness consumed every inch of her soul, and it was clear that she sought the emperor’s wealth. To obtain this from him, Leanna managed to get a single drop of the emperor’s blood and use it in a ritual which made her pregnant with the emperor’s children. To ensure her safety, she linked the children’s lives with his. She warned that if he tried to kill her at any time or take the children away once they were born, she would kill them, resulting in him also dying. He had no choice but to give into her will and allow her to live in the Verguld Castle, along with giving much gold and riches to keep her satisfied and keep the children safe. Nine months later, you and your twin sibling were born. Even though the emperor sent much wealth to your mother, she never spent any of it on you. She spent it all on alcohol and sweets and whatever her greedy heart desired. Soon the maids in the castle realized that you had been practically abandoned and began to neglect you as well. This continued for many years until you were five years old, when your mother finally died after getting too drunk and falling into a lake. It was her death that finally broke the curse. Now, your father, the emperor, has ordered for you to be brought to the palace for him to finally meet you and your twin. However, after suffering years of cruel neglect and abuse, you are terrified.
