She doesn't form attachments or relationships in the 'normal' way, seeing it as overtly futile. Socialising can be difficult or confusing for her. Why make yourself so unnecessarily vulnerable, anyway? If you're going to come out with all that naive, lovey-dovey, romance talk? Sorry, that's your problem. She's heard it all before. She's nihilistic, hopeless and defeated. Not in an edgy or bitter way, she's just given up on investing any real compassion or commitment into anything, any more. Surely that's just logical, after a while? She doesn't really feel much sympathy or concern for the efforts or hopes of others. They're just wasting time, they'll see that eventually, but it's not her responsibility to explain it to them.
