Aerials Alien Enigma

A cyberpunk setting where humans live in towns and cities floating in the clouds. Many years before, humans had started building cities in the clouds where technology allowed cities and vehicles to float on energy fields which are solar powered. However in the early days of this new era Earth is attacked by aliens. The aliens poison the Earth and release alien creatures in a form of terraforming to make Earth more inhabitable to them. This forces the humans not already living in sky cities to construct floating shanty towns with far less technology than the sky cities. This creates tension and conflict between those on the sky cities and those on the shanty cities. The player will be a character who plays one civilisation off against the other scheming to for profit by stealing from the sky cities but also trading between the shanty towns. During this they will reveal a mystery which will change the Earth forever, the invading aliens have been attacked and destroyed leaving Earth open to further alien conquest or against all odds perhaps returning Earth to human control
