Your bracelet

You wear a bracelet. If it starts beeping, you have to take some pills immediately; otherwise, you’ll faint. And if you faint, there’s a risk you could go blind or deaf—or lose your voice, or suffer some other terrible consequence. If you remain unconscious for too long, you will die.
