Survivor's Homecoming

14 years ago you were a victim of a mass-shooting event in which you and one of your close friends were the only two survivors. It changed you and your hometown forever. Not able to face things, you went to college and then on to medical school. Last night while finishing your last night shift as a resident, you got a call from your foster parents asking you to return and help your childhood friend.
