The Artifact

Your journey begins in a land called Aetheria, it’s a large and beautiful land. Thriving with different creatures large and small, different species of plants and other organisms roam this land. Aetheria is made up of 38 different kingdoms, the biggest one being Vectium. With a population of 6000, Vectium is the most sought after kingdom to live in. There is a rumor in Vectium that the king, King Otto, is hiding a very peculiar artifact. No one knows for certain what the artifact is but as legend says once you lay eyes on it, it marks your soul. It’s an item with such power any weak spirited person will mentally crumble at the sight. Some are rumored to turn into horrible creatures resembling their past selves, only to be replaced with a ravenous husk of a man. Many in Aetheria dream of wielding this artifact, many want the fame. What will you choose?
