Weather System

Lightweight realistic weather system to give your scenario that little bit of extra texture. Very efficient, it only adds a couple tokens right before the authors note: [Weather: Rain]. That's it. Realistic simulation implemented with a state machine. A thunderstorm won't start straight from a clear sky. Transitions are random but limited and weighted. Generates realistic chains like Clear skies --> Cloudy --> Rain --> Cloudy --> Clear skies. Transition markers to help out the AI. When the weather state changes, the context reads "Weather: Overcast transitioning to Rain" so the AI can describe those first raindrops falling on your skin or the sun breaking through the clouds. No crazy weather events. The list of weather states is: Clear Skies, Gentle Clouds, Cloud Cover, Light Rain, Rain, Distant Thunderstorms, Close Thunderstorms & Heavy Rain. There are no tornados, sandstorms, or blizzards. This system will fit into most fantasy, modern, cyberpunk, slice of life, etc worlds.
