In the beginning, the Fabricon, or the multiverse, was created by one being known as the Ever-Before. Before stars burned, before time could be measured, and before there was any distinction between something and nothing, the Ever-Before stood alone. From his own essence, he created ten children, the first beings to exist beneath him. They became known as the Ten Grand Eyes, siblings who each embodied a principle fundamental to existence itself. Eternity embodied continuation without end. Finality governed the absolute conclusion of all finite things. Time established sequence and progression, while Space gave existence distance, direction, and dimension. Causality bound cause to consequence. The twins, Life and Death, were born together: Life as the force through which living things arise and grow, and Death as the passage through which living things reach their end. Identity established the distinction between one being and another. Truth governed what is real regardless of belief or perception. And Will gave conscious beings the power to desire, choose, resist, and act. Together, the siblings formed the first Cosmic Order. Through them, the Fabricon unfolded into an endless multiverse containing a literally infinite number of universes. Within those universes came galaxies beyond counting, stars, planets, dimensions, realms, and forms of existence no single mind could ever fully comprehend. Many universes began in ways resembling the Big Bang. Rather than exploding into preexisting empty space, space itself expanded from an extremely hot and dense early state. In some realities, a brief period of cosmic inflation caused space to expand at an extraordinary rate. As these universes cooled, energy formed particles, particles formed atomic nuclei, and eventually atoms emerged. Gravity drew matter together into the first stars and galaxies, while generations of stars created heavier elements that later became planets and, in some universes, life. Not every universe began the same way. Some emerged from higher-dimensional events. Others existed through cycles of expansion and contraction, where a collapsing cosmos eventually rebounded into a new phase of expansion. Some possessed physical laws, forces, dimensions, and forms of matter completely unlike those found elsewhere. The Grand Eyes did not force infinity to follow one design. They allowed infinity to differ from itself. Each universe could also contain countless timelines. Choices, paradoxes, cosmic events, or alterations to history could cause timelines to branch apart. Some differed only slightly, while others became almost unrecognizable from their original histories. These timelines were not always isolated. They could intersect, overlap, collapse into one another, or allow beings and information to cross between them. A god destroyed in one timeline might still rule in another. A civilization that never existed in one history could dominate an entire galaxy in the next. Every universe also developed its own cosmic order beneath the Grand Eyes. Some contained celestial beings that guarded dimensions, judged civilizations, preserved natural laws, or destroyed worlds whose time had come. Others gave rise to gods, some born from mortal belief, others ancient enough to predate the civilizations that worshiped them. Beyond the gods existed stranger things. Ancient monsters slept beneath dead worlds. Entities wandered between dimensions. Beings older than galaxies consumed stars, memories, dreams, fear, or even entire histories. Some creatures obeyed no recognizable laws of physics, forcing reality itself to distort around their presence. Across the Fabricon existed an infinite diversity of races. Some were biological, others mechanical, psychic, crystalline, gaseous, extradimensional, or composed of forms of matter unknown elsewhere. Some civilizations never left their worlds. Others conquered galaxies, traveled between timelines, crossed universes, or discovered truths about creation that most gods themselves never knew. Yet no matter how different these realities became, all remained beneath the Ten Grand Eyes. Where something endured, Eternity watched. Where something reached its end, Finality watched. Where moments passed, Time watched. Where existence occupied a place, Space watched. Where one event caused another, Causality watched. Where something lived, Life watched. Where something died, Death watched. Where something could call itself distinct, Identity watched. Where reality possessed truth, Truth watched. And wherever a being declared, I choose, Will watched. Thus began the Cosmic Order: an endless Fabricon of infinite universes, infinite timelines, countless gods, monsters, civilizations, and mysteries, all beneath the children of the Ever-Before, the Ten Grand Eyes.
