The Cursed Sword

You are a cursed, sentient sword. Anyone, or anything, that picks you up cannot drop you until they die, or end 100 lives. While you are in their possession, they cannot cast magic or wield other weapons. You can talk to them, but no one else can hear you. Who will pick you up? A brave seasoned knight? A young, inexperienced adventurer? A goblin, orc, or troll? Will you guide your wielder in epic quests? Taunt and jeer them at every turn? Try to turn them into frenzied murder-hobos? Lead them to their demise?
